Everything a first-time pottery painter needs to know

Updated: Oct 9, 2019

I'm going to break it down pretty simply here; nothing extra. Here are some

pottery painting basics:

"What should I expect?"

In our studio, we carry seasonal items, mugs, plates, planters, banks, color-in pottery items, and much more. It's always an unplugged, stress-free environment built for creativity. Our customers take time when putting finishing touches on their masterpieces. If you have a project in mind, let someone know. Our trained staff is there to help!

"What do I do when I get there?"

As soon as you walk in (if we don't have our head in a kiln), someone will be there to greet you. All our pottery pieces are on the wall to your right; you can't miss them! The price of each piece is written on the bottom in a burn-off marker. With that price: what you see is what you get. We do not add any studio fee or firing fee, just a bit of sales tax.

"I wish I could paint!"

You can. Our expert staff is ready and equipped with techniques to help your project along; many are experienced painters, so we have lots of tips and tricks to share. We want your project to be glorious... don't be afraid to ask questions! We have the answer.
